Bloomberg:  Mortgage applications in the U.S. slid last week to their lowest level since November, led by plummeting demand for refinancing amid tighter credit and a worsening economic outlook.

MarketWatch: As interest rates charged on fixed-rate mortgages dropped last week, the volume of mortgage applications filed fell a seasonally adjusted 24.5% compared with the week before, the Mortgage Bankers Association said Wednesday.
